Doctors of Northcote | GP Open Sunday

We would like to thank everyone for their understanding at this time.

Our usual way of interacting together has changed and it takes longer. This is to ensure safe practice. We are ensuring that our surgery remains safe for you and your loved ones should they need to attend. When a patient is asked to attend they may rest assured that all public health advice in relation to hygiene has been adhered to. All this takes additional time but it is worth it. It has saved lives.

IMPORTANT- PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE Covid-19- SEEK TELEPHONE ADVICE FIRST

Updated Practice Protocol May 2022;

1. If you require medical attention, please contact the surgery by telephone on 01-8217548

2. If you have COVID symptoms, you will be sent a link to a questionnaire to be filled, and you will be contacted by a GP to discuss you symptoms and arrange for testing if necessary.

3. If your condition is NON-COVID related, reception will arrange for you to attend the surgery in person. We are following all public health guidance in relation to this.

4.  PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS, OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE WITH COVID SYMPTOMS.

5. When attending the surgery for an appointment, please travel by car if at all possible. For safety/social distancing reasons, we have a waiting room which can only hold 4 patients at a time. If you are not travelling by car, please wear weather appropriate clothing

We will endeavour to see you as soon as possible, however such is the nature of consultations the GP will sometimes be running over time.
